PAUP (Phylogenetic Analysis Using Parsimony)
PAUP is a software package used by systematists for the inference of evolutionary trees. PAUP files are saved on this site as text files.
To view the file, simply click on the hyperlink. After it is loaded into the brower, save it using the "Save As" feature of the browser (located under the "File" header of the browser).
On the PC, these files can be saved directly by clicking on the hyperlink using the right mouse button and selecting the "Save link as..." option. Select *.txt" as the file type and press the "Save" button.
These files may be opened and viewed on PAUP software.
